A Navajo Wedding Basket

The center of our ministry model is Christ.  He is the beginning of our spiritual walk with God, which begins at the cross.

On the inner circle we see three points which represent to us:

  1. As we begin our spiritual walk with Christ we must do as the Apostle Paul says in Philippians 4:9, “Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.”
    a.     We must hear
    b.     See it
    c.     Go and do
  2. Core Values
    a.     Christ-centered
    b.     Pentecostal
    c.     Community Oriented
  3. Trinity
    a.     Father
    b.     Son
    c.     Holy Spirit
The three inner points can represent any or all of the three aforementioned statements.

The red of the basket represents the path that we all must follow.  Christ tells us to take up our cross and follow Him.  This is the path that Christ walks shown by the red representing His shed blood.

On the outer circle we see six points which represent to us:

In our walk with Christ we currently have 6 points ministry that enable our spiritual journey.  They are . . .

  1. Sunday School
  2. Morning Worship Services
  3. Sunday evening Services
  4. Wednesday evening Bible Studies
  5. Children & Youth Ministries
  6. Community Outreaches

This wedding basket also reminds us that we, the church, are the bride of Christ.  And someday we will sit and sup with Him at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb mentioned in Revelation 19.
